Year 6 ceramic murals in the making

This week the year sixes had their second lesson with Debbie.  They continued working on their designs and making the features for the murals out of clay.

Footprints of the Planet, will be a series of  52 circular murals installed at Glen Katherine Primary School as part of the years 5 and 6 artist in residence Program. Students have worked either individually or in small groups to design artworks which highlight our diverse and beautiful planet and the need to take care about our footprint (or our impact) on its natural environment.

This week the Year five students had their second session designing the artwork and making ceramic features out of clay.
